शान्ता महान्तो निवसन्ति सन्तो वसन्तवल्लोकहितं चरन्तः ।
तीर्णास्स्वयं भीमभवार्णवं जनानहेतुनान्यानपि तारयन्तः ॥
There dwell calm, great noble ones who move about effecting, like the spring season, what is beneficial to people. Having themselves crossed the dreadful ocean of transmigratory existence, they, without any motive, cause other persons too to cross over.
Sri Vidyatheertha Foundation was established in the year 1991 to perpetuate the memory of Jagadguru Sri Abhinava Vidyatheertha Mahaswamigal, the great Jivanmukta who adorned the sacred Sri Sringeri Sharada Peetham as its 35th Jagadguru Shankaracharya. Since then, this organization has been functioning with the blessings of Jagadguru Sri Bharathi Theertha Mahaswamigal and Jagadguru Sri Vidhushekhara Bharathi Swamigal, of Sri Sringeri Sharada Peetham and carrying out various projects that are close to the heart of the Jagadgurus.
